Tricia from Lower Hutt is keen to get her GreenSmart pots filled with veges and herbs again this spring.
“I look forward to your emails. I now have six of your self-watering planters and find them marvelous. I don’t have to bother about watering for a couple of weeks, which I find great in the warmer months. I grew two lots of beetroot in the past year, and with the second sewing I made lovely beetroot chutney. They seem to mature very quickly in your planters and I had lettuce right until July this year. I grew tomatoes as well and have all my herbs in two of the planters. I have just sown seed inside for a lot of veggies for the spring and summer.
I think they are a great buy and much better than the garden.
I really do love your planters and have persuaded a few people to buy them, amongst them my daughter who is not keen on gardening, but she has grown herbs and lettuce etc in her two planters.
I do use celery but haven’t grown it as yet so look forward to your next newsletter.”
